NI Weather: Fine weekend but Easter Monday could bring sleet and snow

An upper level disturbance could potentially bring more scattered snow showers this morning along with some patchy fog as well.

Vining said the system will enter the state from the northwest and exit in the southeast with most of North Dakota receiving measurable snow.

“From 2 or 3 in the afternoon will probably be when the heaviest snow moves through”, he said.

Barham said snow on April 1 is “not completely unheard of but fairly rare”. But it will fall at a heavy enough rate in some places to allow accumulation.
