Nick Cannon has offered his blessings to his ex-wife Mariah Carey and her new fiancé. US Weekly has a chart comparing Carey’s ring to other famous diamonds, and it’s a ring Drake would want for his team for sure.

On Sunday, Carey’s ex-husband took to his Instagram account to wish the “great couple” congratulations, sharing a meme and his sense of humour. Cannon is doing well, but he’s no billionaire. In the picture, the 35-year-old is seen lying in a hospital bed while his co-star Kevin Hart stands over him looking concerned. The gorgeous mansion is just the latest lavish purchase for Carey and Packer.

The couple got engaged last week following James’ surprise proposal with an $8 million worth ring. The Australian billionaire proposed with a 35-carat diamond ring, which is larger than than Kim Kardashian and Beyonce’s rings combined.

“He blew up on her when he found out about this, because she was not the one to tell him”, a source close to the 45-year-old “Always Be My Baby” singer told Radar.

Carey and Packard reportedly first met in 2014 at the premiere of “Hercules” and had been friends since.

“James actually seems slightly bothered by her relationship with Nick“, said the source.

“They have a connection that is unparalleled; it’s been a very attractive experience for them both”.
