Available games with a Nintendo Switch trailer that can be viewed on Youtube include “Graceful Explosion Machine“, “Flipping Death”, “Blaster Master Zero”, “Celeste“, “Snake Pass”, “SteamWorld Dig 2”, “Fast RMX”, “Mr.Shifty”, “Shakedown: Hawaii“, and “Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment”. Using a Joy-Con on the side might not be the optimal way to play, but it’s enough for co-op games such as SnipperClips and Mario Kart, and I have no doubt that Nintendo will continue to at least make it an option in most games going forward. SuperData reasons that the Switch console is launching much earlier into the calendar year than Nintendo’s previously released consoles, with a high price tag and a relatively light library of must-have titles; consumers are paying $300 Dollars for a console with no bundle. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case. However, with Nintendo Switch, the unique appeal of our “anywhere, anytime, anyway” approach is readily apparent. There’s also a kickstand built into the Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, a system update (downloads in the background) that will be available on launch day is required to access Nintendo eShop and it is created to quickly install and doesn’t interrupt the gameplay.

The 3D platformer has announced as early as December 2016 that plans of porting it on the Nintendo Switch are underway, and so this official reveal will definitely make fans all the more excited about both the title and the gaming hybrid. The game is set for a summer 2017 release and will launch as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. After all, such simple games will have less of a toll on the Switch’s battery life when you are on the move, which is the whole point of having a portable console anyway – to play games on the go. And we do advise purchasing a decent microSD card as the built-in storage is measly, but everything else Nintendo has supplied in the box is more than capable for great gaming sessions. I jumped right in on Skylanders Imaginators, an easy way in since most attendees headed straight for games that haven’t already been released from other consoles.
