Nintendo to release two or three mobile games ever year

December 26 14:39 2016

With such a huge interest in games from Nintendo, the company is all set to capitalise people’s interest in its games. Apple even purged its App Store in October of a slew of games that hadn’t been touched by their developers in over a year.

In the Sankei interview, Kimishima also attempted to alleviate some concerns among investors about Nintendo’s approach to mobile. It is a gaming brand. It’s a unusual way to keep people “engaged” by telling them to amass Toad armies, but after they’ve paid the $10 there’s no real benefit for Nintendo with this grindy, often frustrating system. The good news is that it looks like there are several more in the works. The record-breaking pace followed a third-party report that just 25 million downloads had taken place in that time. Or, at least not fully.

You can download Super Mario Run right now for absolutely no cost at all, and get to play the first three levels of the game, along with having the ability to use many other features without having to buy the game. “This puts it among the very top of the iOS Games heap”.

One thing that doesn’t seem to be promising, however, is the $10 price tag to unlock Super Mario Run’s full potential.

Super Mario Run might have a tremendous success during its release.

According to researcher App Annie, Super Mario Run is no longer the highest-grossing iOS app in any country.

There was just one small problem …

Nintendo’s attempt to introduce a new form of revenue stream have not gone down well with gamers. For now, it is impossible to play the game in Android devices, whether it is legally purchased in the App Store or a pirated copy.

“In order to develop the game and make it as special, we had to focus on one platform and we chose to focus on iOS, iPhone, [and] iPad”, he previously said. The executive from Nintendo noted that for the coming year, a couple of games are on the roadmap. Considering that Pokemon Go was probably one of the most successful app of all time, it would make better sense to not compare. That’s expected because you know, it’s Super Mario.
