No Man’s Sky pricing and pre-order details revealed

March 02 20:02 2016

No Man’s Sky had previously announced that the game would be released in June of 2016 last October, so the shoe may fit.

According to a PlayStation Blog post that has since been deleted, No Man’s Sky will cost $60.

We can confirm it was definitely there for a short time, but has since been taken down.

Many rushed to the conclusion that No Man’s Sky would get a stealth release later this week.

It was stated by The Bit Bag that No Man’s Sky may be closing in on another series of news soon.

Given the source there’s no United Kingdom price, but $59.99 is the standard in the USA and if you go by what Doom is going for, which has the same price tag, that should mean No Man’s Sky will be £49.99. There’s also a link to the PlayStation Store, but it leads to an error at the moment as pre-orders aren’t expected until March 3. As Yibada delivered, the entire team at Hello Games are putting so much effort in creating the game and delivering as promised.

It can be remembered that the game founder and programmer Sean Murray was asked about the release date in an “Ask Sean Murray Anything” session with IGN past year. That’s not significant unless you were expecting the open world, procedurally generated space game to be priced like a typical digital indie game.

It can be assumed then, based on the lack of reaction from the developers, that the release is still slated in June.
