Obama: Michelle ‘doesn’t have the patience’ to run for office

The FBI is investigating more emails as part of a probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email system, it said on Friday, in a new twist that could damage the Democratic candidate in the 2016 presidential race.

Clinton, who served as first lady from 1993-2001 during Bill Clinton’s presidency, was quick to heap praise on Obama. As low-brows used to say about the opera – and if it were not for the tragic consequences of so many of Clinton’s actions, her campaign would resemble a comic opera – “it ain’t over ’till the fat lady sings”. I saw her in the Situation Room, making the argument to go after (al-Qaeda chief Osama) bin Laden even though it was risky.

The former Secretary of State was quick to concede with humour, that Michelle has what she lacks – an ability to dance, to sing Carpool Karaoke.

The campaign has not released additional details.

“It’s not enough just to elect her and then have a Republican Congress that is already talking about not being willing to cooperate with her on anything”, Obama told a crowd of 9,000 whose screams reached rock concert volumes.

Clinton entered the final stretch of the race with a resounding cash advantage over Trump: As of last week, her campaign and Democratic partners had $153 million in the bank, more than double what Trump’s side had available.

“She actually understands the world”. After all, it was Obama who had brought new voters into the party during his rise to the White House, not the other way around.

Donald Trump immediately pounced on the turn of events, seeing an opportunity to press the argument he’s long tried to make against Clinton: That she thinks she’s above the law and that she put US security at risk by using her personal email. “She just comes back and she gets up and she works harder and she works harder until she gets done what she’s supposed to get done”, Obama told the crowd.

“She’s thought it through”.

She has similarly vowed to work on her healthy eating and military family initiatives after she leaves the White House. So she’ll take any opportunity she can to associate herself with him, especially since instead of nominating someone who might pull some of those voters over to their side, Republicans chose a candidate who would only exacerbate their disadvantage and narrow their appeal. Of course, so have I. There’s nobody in the public arena over the course of 30 years that doesn’t make some.

“You don’t see her complaining”.

But his actual record as a businessman indicates that he is a bad and dishonest one, with a half-dozen business bankruptcies from which he emerged well off but left behind trails of shortchanged shareholders and stiffed creditors and employees. “I want every man out there who’s voting to kind of look inside yourself and ask yourself”. “To the guys out there, I want to be honest”.
