Oklahoma’s 12-year old singing ventriloquist wins America’s Got Talent

Angelica sang Symphony by Clean Bandit in yesterday’s finale, a performance that was praised by all the judges. The song opened with a soft, gentle melody then later transitioned to a rap verse. Simon had an unfair advantage since he created and produced the show.

Playing the piano, Cabaltera sung her original composition titled Worth It.

And now, it was Diavolo’s turn to hit the stage.

She got a standing ovation from the judges.

Judge Mel B was the one to give Darci a spot in the next round straight from the auditions. “They will bring an audience!”

She just shattered into tears after hearing the news. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as everyone was so mesmerized by her heart-wrenching performance.

Comedian Preacher Lawson didn’t get to perform on the AGT stage this evening. Kandi Burruss I thought that she would be part of the top two. “Thank you so much for this opportunity”.

Kechi opted for “Conqueror” by Estelle for the finale.

“We still don’t understand how a li’l cutie like you has a voice like that”, America’s Got Talent tweeted from its official account. “That was an anthem”, Simon exclaimed.

Darci, who took up ventriloquism 2 ½ years ago to counteract her shyness, amazed from the start of the summer competition. Our suggestion for her would be to get around 15-20 minutes together and tour that for now; she can always come back to Vegas down the road or make some guest appearances during Fator’s show. “Half said Angelica [would win], half said Darci”. Fourth place went to Mandy Harvey which shocked me. “Kelly Clarkson is an incredible person and awesome performer – so happy to have shared this special moment”.

“Oh God, it was emotional – it was exciting”, he said. Tonight, again, I’ve just witnessed a star emerge because that’s what you are.

The 10 acts are all stunning but there will be only one victor.
