#ParisRobbery: French Police release Kim Kardashian’s driver and two others

Kim Kardashian headed off to Dubai on Wednesday, her first global trip following her traumatic Paris robbery in October.

Throughout the inquiry, police have been investigating whether the gang was tipped off that Kardashian West’s bodyguard was not at the hotel residence at the time of the robbery.

It’s understood five men have been detained who took part in the theft. Investigators have also found the DNA of one suspect, Aomar Ait Khedache, a 60-year-old Algeria-born French citizen, at the scene.

The 27-year old chauffeur however remains in Police custody. The officials were unsure which brother chauffeured the reality TV star the night she was robbed in a rented apartment in the French capital.

Kim suffered more turmoil in November when her rapper husband Kanye West was taken to hospital in Los Angeles for sleep deprivation and exhaustion, after abruptly cancelling his US Saint Pablo tour.

As the mother-of-two moves on from the incident, French police are working hard to determine who the robbers are, and what punishments they will face. Earlier this week, around 17 people were arrested regarding the case, including Kim’s chauffer.

Police are working on the theory that the raid on October 3 on the exclusive apartment block where Ms Kardashian (36) had been staying during Paris Fashion Week was an “inside job”.

Kardashian was tied up and locked in the bathroom.

The jewels have not been recovered. The thieves fled with jewellery worth around nine million euros ($9.5 million), including a ring worth around four million euros. Luxury hotel bookings and foreign tourist arrivals in France are both down.

That’s why traveling to Dubai will be a healthy trip for the social media star.
