Pictures have emerged showing the man wanted in connection with the killing of ex-EastEnders actress Sian Blake and her two sons being arrested in Ghana.

The bodies of 43 Sian Blake, Zachary, eight, and Amon, four, were discovered on Tuesday in the garden of the London house.

In a statement released in London, Scotland Yard police said they had been “made aware of an arrest in Ghana” and were working alongside Ghanaian authorities.

Around 10 armed officers descended onto a beach in a town in the west of Ghana where Simpson-Kent was spotted hiding between some rocks, according to reports.

Simpson-Kent was himself listed as a “high-risk missing person” when officers went back to the house on December and broke in when there was no sign of him.

This was after a joint Ghana, Interpol and British Police team laid ambush in the Western Region on Saturday.

The three were last seen on December 13.

The watchdog said: ‘Sadly, the bodies of Sian and her two children were found at the Pembroke Road address 20 days later, on 5 January 2016.

It is understood concerns about domestic violence were raised by a relative of Ms Blake to the NSPCC on December 16, information which was passed on to the Metropolitan Police and Bexley Council.

Police say Blake and her two sons died from injuries to the neck and head. His extended family is said to be in Cape Coast.
