Petition Calls To Ban Cam Newton From CenturyLink

January 26 20:04 2016

It appears that Seattle Seahawks fans are still pretty upset that Cam Newton touched their “12th Man” flag, as a petition to ban the Carolina Panthers quarterback from playing in CenturyLink Field next season is making its way around the Internet.

Cam Newton is one of the most unprofessional, unsportsmanlike individual(s) (on) the planet”, reads the manifesto.

“I say we ban Andrew’s petition and ban him”, says Murray. “This should teach him to put his arrogance in check!!” wrote Andrew Tilton on the petition posted on Change.org.

The petition has had more than 1,700 people sign it. Someone called “Seahawks suck” fired back at the petition by commenting, “You couldn’t even keep Cam out of the end zone”.

That apparently is enough to make one activism-minded Seahawks fan stand up and say, “Enough is enough!” So it’s pretty clear this is a “sore loser” type of situation.

The tossing of the flag by Newton caused some uproar from some Seahawks fans, but nothing too serious.

The answer to “what is dabbing?” depends entirely on who you ask.

I really want to believe this is just someone trolling the world wide web, but with all the inane complaints towards Cam already laid out on the table, there’s a part of me that never counts out the possibility of National Football League fans redefining the term stupid.

The Charlotte-based Carolina Panthers will next head to San Francisco, where they will face the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.
