No, the commander in chief isn’t a comedian by profession, but he “has gotten off just enough amusing lines to qualify for getting on this show”, Seinfeld says.
The pair got into a host of other humorous topics in their drive around the White House grounds, from Obama’s thoughts on world leaders who have lost their sanity to his love for nachos. Seinfeld asks, one of the better interviews conducted with Obama during his presidency.
He continued, “That moment where you lost your anonymity, and anonymity is not something you think about as being valuable”.
Seinfeld asked Obama what sport that politics was most like, and the president said it was like football because it’s like being sacked, but sometimes there is a hole and open field. And part of what happens is these guys – I think the longer they stay in office, the more likely that is to happen….
“A pretty sizable percent”, Obama says. “I only have blue and grey suits”, Obama said. After the Seinfeld show star feedback in that the majority kids grow up loving the president, Obama states he does “really well” with the zero-Eight-year-old demographic.
