Priyanka Chopra rehearses for Oscars 2016, shares backstage pics

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra gave presented the Oscars in the Best Film Editing category to “Mad Max: Fury Road” along with Hollywood star Liev Schreiber at the 88th Academy Awards ceremony. She looked elegant in the structured cage bustier mermaid dress adorned with 3D shimmering climbing flowers.

She was draped in hues of white, designed by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad.

“Last minute touches. On my way”.

The Indian actress, who won the Miss World competition in 2000, feels lucky she never had to fight for a role she wanted.

In a picture she shared on social media while enroute the Oscars, Piggy Chops wrote, “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”.

The actress wore a black, low-cut jumpsuit to the Oscars pre-party and there was intense speculation over her first big Oscar appearance. It is also her first Academy Award. With Priyanka busy with her Quantico shoot and her Hollywood debut, “Baywatch“, does she take time off to look into her regional productions? Though the movie’s already a week into production, Chopra looks forward to joining her castmates – who include Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Kelly Rohrbach, and Alexandra Dadarrio – on the beach.
