QB Lynch melts down in blowout loss to Auburn

This mismatch, though, came with a twist.

The fourth quarter proved to be a game changer for Auburn as the team downed Memphis 31-10 in the Birmingham Bowl Wednesday.

Auburn finishes their season with a 7-6 record, avoiding their first losing season in Gus Malzahn’s tenure. “That’s a great quarterback with a lot of great skill guys”. However, Auburn’s defense stepped up in the third quarter when Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch threw an interception in the end zone off a deflected pass. But I’m glad for him, though, he’s definitely deserving of what he did today”. “He gave us momentum in the second half, there is no doubt about that”. His 5-yard touchdown run on the first play of the fourth quarter made it 24-10.

Johnson said he’ll be back to build on his game.

“I don’t know if I’d call it that”, he said of the Dab.
