Pride Night” at the Tampa Bay Rays baseball game this Friday is being dedicated to the victims of the Orlando mass shooting.

When reached for comment on Wednesday, Michael Farmer, Statewide Deputy Director of Development for Equality Florida, said he was previously unaware of the Rays’ “We Are Orlando” dedication and donations, but said they’ve been a partner organization with the Rays and their annual Pride Night.

All open seats to Friday’s Rays-San Francisco Giants 7:10 p.m. game at Tropicana Field will be available for $5 with 100% of proceeds from those sales benefitting the Pulse Victims Fund, set up for the families of the victims. “In the wake of a awful tragedy, and in a matter of hours, 40,000 people have chosen to come together, to stand side by side in a show of support for the victims, their families, the City of Orlando and the greater LGBT community”.

All remaining tickets to Friday’s game with the Giants will be sold for $5, with all proceeds going to the Pulse Victims Fund.

– Parking will be $5 per vehicle at all team-controlled lots.

To incentivize support for critical medical care needed for victims, fans donating blood at Tropicana Field via OneBlood will also get free tickets to a future Rays game.

In addition to the teams observing a moment of silence prior to the game, while the names of the Orlando shooting victims are scrolled on the video board, there will also be a prerecorded video from Commissioner Rob Manfred. Major League Baseball vice president of inclusion Billy Bean, a former pro player who came out after his career was over, will throw out the first pitch on Friday.
