‘Real Housewives’ star Teresa Giudice freed after almost a year in prison

According to People magazine, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star was released from Danburry Correctional Facility on Wednesday, Dec. 23, after serving nearly a full year behind bars for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. However, they would do so one at a time so their four daughters wouldn’t be left without both parents.

The 43-year-old received an incredibly warm welcome from family.

In addition to her books and the show, Teresa also has a line of bellini drinks, fittingly named Fabellini, and a line of hair care named after her daughter Milania.

Giudice will be allowed to spend Christmas Eve over at her brother’s house, her attorney told the AP.

The early Christmas present was decked out with a giant red bow. She just wants to be back home with her family.
