Ronda Rousey stuns in WrestleMania debut, defeats Triple H, Stephanie McMahon

April 11 01:45 2018

If you missed it, Ronda Rousey finally made her in-ring debut for the WWE on Sunday night (April 8). and destroyed Stephanie McMahon. “We now look forward to a historic WrestleMania 35 celebration next year in NY and New Jersey”.

The dream match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura did not live up to the insane expectations it had, but it had a memorable moment at the end where Nakamura turned on Styles by giving him a low blow.

Once again, Roman Reigns found himself coming up short in a fight against Brock Lesnar, as the Conqueror left the challenger bloodied and broken after their epic Wrestlemania match.

Canada’s first win of the night came via Calgary native Jinder Mahal, who defeated Randy Orton, Peterborough’s Bobby Roode and Rusev in a Fatal Fourway match for Orton’s USA title. His iconic music hit as Cena walked up the ramp, convinced his challenge had gone unmet.

The former mixed martial arts fighter proved she can perform with the best of them on Sunday night, less than four months after signing with the WWE.

Last night, Daniel Bryan came out of retirement to face Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn alongside Shane McMahon. This was backed up by a photo Shepard posted on his Twitter account, where Nicholas, Cone, and Strowman posed together with the Raw Tag Team titles. Her tag partner was none other than former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon, who recently lost her title at NXT Takeover: New Orleans to Shayna Baszler. This was terrible and there’s no other way to describe it.

The Raw after WrestleMania 34 averaged 3.921 million viewers – up 536,000 viewers from last week’s average of 3.358 million. The event is shown internationally and is annually watched by over a million people. How will Rollins’ Intercontinental Championship reign go? Where does Rousey go from here?

These questions will be answered soon enough. In the closing moments of the twenty-plus minute bout, with UFC President Dana White looking on from the audience, the rowdy one locked an arm bar on Stephanie McMahon, leaving the WWE’s Chief Brand Officer with no alternative but to tap out. Not to mention, it should be very interesting to see how Styles and Nakamura plays out now that Nakamura is a heel.

Arguably as important as Mania itself to serious wrestling fans, the episode of Monday Night Raw that follows WrestleMania tends to be a night of surprises.

Ronda Rousey is back on top.
