Ryan: Liberals favour a government-heavy agenda for elites

Ryan told his fellow House Republicans on Monday that he will spend the remaining weeks until the November 8 elections campaigning to help them keep control of the chamber.

The two Wisconsinites have built a strong bond throughout their time in Congress, with Ryan serving as a mentor-like figure to Johnson, a political outsider who helped build a manufacturing company in Oshkosh before defeating Feingold in 2010.

“I was very surprised to see him do that”, Gwen Wehe told us outside a local ice cream store. Unfortunately, Republican leaders are more concerned about protecting their power, perks and relationships than stopping a menace that may destroy what is left of the greatest country on earth. He has to protect his conscience. Trump trained this spotlight on himself. He’s playing the middle …

“Paul Ryan is my friend”, GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence said on “Fox and Friends”. Trump then made one of the most ominous declarations in modern politics: “It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to”.

Havei said he’s “aghast at the negativity”, while Wehe said point blank, “It just needs to stop”.

“The problem is that they agree with him on nearly all of the issues”, Markey said. “Which is exactly why I think it is so important that we take a step back and reflect on what this election is ultimately about”. With Trump, he’s insane. “You’ve either got to get and be wholly supportive. or it really doesn’t matter”.

“The message and tone at the top of the ticket is crucial to everything down ballot”, Ulvert said.

Ryan’s appearance came a week after the release of a 2005 video showing Trump boasting about forcing sexual contact with women, a blockbuster moment in the campaign. Clinton already has been pressed to explain comments she made at a speech to a housing-industry group that public officials need “both a public and a private position”.

Just one day before Trump is scheduled to visit Wisconsin, he started attacking Ryan again on Sunday, accusing him of not supporting his party’s nominee.

None of the students, who were called on by moderator Vicki McKenna of WIBA Madison/WISN Milwaukee, asked Ryan about Trump. Republican leaders from the state – Ryan, Gov. Scott Walker and Sen.

In contrast, the Democrats are a symbol of unity as President Obama, former Vice President Al Gore and even defeated presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders have endorsed and are campaigning for Hillary Clinton.

“While Paul Ryan and Scott Walker won’t be sharing the stage with Donald Trump on Monday, their silence and continued support for his presidential campaign is proof that they share his unsafe views”, said Wisconsin Democratic Party spokesman Phil Shulman before Johnson also announced he wasn’t going to be there.

“At some point, you have to look in the mirror and recognize that you can not possibly justify support for Trump to your children – especially your daughters”, Missouri businessman David Humphreys told The New York Times, which said he contributed more than $2.5 million (2.3 million euros) in the last four years.

“Trump is definitely an anchor around her neck”, Eldon said.
