The investigation to be conducted in Mumbai is being done to understand the system more clearly and to understand the organizational structure of the school.
Saurabh, the driver of the Ryan International School bus, whose conductor is accused of killing a seven-year-old child by slitting his throat, on Tuesday said that he parked the bus inside the school and that he has no idea where the conductor went after that. However, when Pradyuman resisted the attempt and tried to raise an alarm, Ashok confessed that he took out a knife from his pocket and stabbed the child twice in his neck. Had they taken corrective measures after the tragic death of 6-year-old Devyansh Kakrora on the Vasant Kunj’s branch premises last year, the murder of Pradyuman could have been averted.
In a press conference, Sisodia disclosed the issues taken up at the meeting, and said that private schools’ political linkage is the major reason behind occurrence of such cases.

On May 2016, a 7-year-old girl identified as Jiya studying in Ryan International school, Gurugram died after being hit by a speeding auto after she got off her school bus. The act of negligence by the school is separate. The accused Ashok Kumar has been arrested in the connection with the case even as parents demand a thorough probe into the case.
She also questioned why no FIR had been filed against the school, principal and directors as they were “directly responsible for the safety the children”. Haryana Chief Minister had assured that culprits in the case won’t be spared.
Meanwhile, in a move to tackle protests, an additional security has been deployed across all campuses of the school. “Despite taking all necessary steps for security and well-being of the students as required by law and prudence, if such an unfortunate incident occurs, the institution can not be held culpable as it is itself a victim of unfortunate circumstances”, they said.
