Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 Smartphone launched: Check Specifications, Features and Price

Samsung Galaxy A series (2017) was launched yesterday and now pricing of the phone along with availability has been revealed.

Measuring 146.1 x 71.4 x 7.9 mm, the Samsung Galaxy A5 comes with an FHD Super AMOLED 5.2-inch screen.

Samsung on Monday unveiled a trio of new Galaxy A series smartphones that more or less mirror the company’s flagship devices in terms of styling but at a more affordable price point.

The Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 may be part of the same lineup, but they each have their own distinctive set of specs.

The A series resembles Samsung’s high-end Galaxy S line and features a fingerprint sensor, metal frame and a 3D glass backing (available in black, gold, blue and pink).

Improved cameras: The Samsung Galaxy A3 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, while the Samsung Galaxy A7 and A5 have 16-megapixel front and rear cameras.

On the other hand, the A7 and the A5 share the same specifications except for the battery.

Both handsets are rocking a 1.9GHz octa-core processor with 3GB RAM, while boasting 16-megapixel front and rear cameras and 32GB of built-in storage. On the camera side of things, you’ll find a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.

The 2017 editions of Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 also sport larger batteries with support for Fast Charging capability, another feature that was previously mostly common on flagship smartphones within Samsung.

Samsung will announce later this month the results of an investigation into what caused some of its Galaxy Note7 smartphones to catch fire, according to South Korean newspaper JoongAng Ilbo. He added that the new Galaxys had all of the design features customers had come to love, as well as enhanced performance.

The smallest Galaxy A model is the A3, with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen. All three smartphones from the series will be made available from early-January in Russian Federation before being made available in other markets.
