Samsung Galaxy S7 photos surface (or would appear to)

While progress in resolution is often anticipated for new phones, reports alleged that this time, Samsung will just retain the 5.1-inch 2,560×1,440 Super AMOLED screen in the S6 and S6 Edge.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 appears in several images and a video which suggests that the final model specifications have leaked. Samsung hasn’t said how it will integrate this feature into the Galaxy S7. If that will be the same case with the Samsung Galaxy S7, other variants could use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 particularly for North American versions.

Now that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are old news, the rumors are beginning to fly about the next new thing in the Galaxy lineup, the S7 and S7 Edge. However, Samsung is believed to power its upcoming Galaxy flagship with a 3000mAh unit, something we believe Apple would not be able to match anytime soon.

According to some of the recent rumors the Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) will be coming out with a larger screen of 4.5 – inches for display when compared to Galaxy J1 which was 4.3 – inches for display.

We take a look at Galaxy S7’s features to assess whether Samsung could possibly defy all odds and pull one over its closest competitor.

All three new models run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop mobile operating system and feature dual SIM capability, 16GB of storage with expandable microSD card support of up to 128GB.

Storage – reports have suggested that the S7 and S7 Edge would both come in 32 GB and 64 GB options. Our best bet is that the Galaxy J1 (2016) will pack a 5-megapixel shutter on the back, along with a 2-megapixel selfie camera in the front. But what can we expect from the Galaxy S7 when it is released? With January here Samsung has plenty to face up to – not only is Google’s excellent Nexus 6P on the scene, but there’ll also be premium competition in the shape of new handsets from LG and HTC.
