The launch date is now confirmed to launch on February 25.
LG came up with a statement confirming their next flagship smartphone is on schedule. If our instinct is right, Samsung’s Galaxy S9 will feature a stunning display, further cementing the company as one of the world’s leading flagship smartphone manufacturers.
“We can not mention any detailed information regarding Galaxy S9 series since they are new products that are not announced yet.” said a representative for Samsung Electronics.
Samsung Galaxy S9 series is expected to come with 10nm class chipsets and depending on the region of sale, they will be offered in Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (in the US, China, and select countries) or Samsung’s Exynos 9810 series (in India, Europe, and others).
Can we expect ISOCELL camera sensors? At the CES 2018 held earlier this month in Las Vegas, the Huawei launched the Mate 10 Pro smartphone in the U.S market. This technology allows for super detailed slow-motion video recording with 1080p resolution at 480 frames per second – which means the video should be both crisp and buttery smooth. And because it is sleek, the company can also do away with those ugly camera bumps.
IBT also reported yesterday that a video showing an alleged Galaxy S9 unit surfaced online. While the Galaxy S9 will ship with a single 12MP rear camera sensor, the bigger brother will have dual camera sensors comprising of 12MP sensors each.
As for the experience factor, for the first time in the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A8 features a 16MP+8MP F1.9 Dual Front Camera.
The interesting part from the above image is the emphasis on the camera tech, with Samsung calling it “Reimagined”.
As usual, it’s recommended to take this leak with a grain of salt because it’s hard to say for sure how the Galaxy S9 will turn out until it officially rolls out.
Ahead of their official unveiling, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus have been spotted on the Chinese certification site 3C.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 is rumored to arrive with a 5.8-inch Infinity Display that has rounded corners and curved edges.
We will have to wait till Feb 25th to reliably know which of the above features eventually see the light of the day in the Samsung flagships. Let’s see all the details of your design below.
