The rumours so far have painted a picture of a premium smartphone that could give the iPhone X a serious run for its money.
As for the new leaks found by WinFuture, they revealed the Galaxy S9 featured in four different colors: Coral Blue, Lilac Purple, Midnight Black and Titanium Gray.
Just a day ahead of its official unveiling, Samsung may have accidentally uploaded the Galaxy S9’s alleged launch video online before quickly taking it back down.
During the last weeks, one of the most intense debates about the new Galaxy S9 has been the price that the firm would fix.
Apart from the price details, speculations have been also rife that, both Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be available in market just a week after their launch. “Samsung Electronics will showcase the next generation of Galaxy devices that reimagines the camera and redefines the way you share your moments”, said the electronics giant in a statement.
Pre-orders for Android phones aren’t as hectic as iPhone pre-orders and we don’t expect the Galaxy S9 to sell out in the United States. Do you think that it should have featured a metal and glass combination chassis? According to Blass, the smartphones will cost Euro 841 for the Galaxy S9 and Euro 997 for the Galaxy S9+. But there are chances that it is going to be a flagship phone and that the leaked schematics hint that it is going to resemble the iPhone X a lot.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S9, S9+ could be powered by Samsung’s own kitchens, the Exynos 9810 clocked at 1.9GHz in normal and 2.9GHz in turbo modes. The Galaxy S9 is rumored to come packing 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the S9+ model will be configured with 6GB of memory and 128GB of local storage. However, Samsung already showed a small preview of how it would stagger the price of integrated models in the increasingly numerous ranges of smartphones.
The new handsets are shown along with the “The Phone”. It raises the bar even higher for the Galaxy S9 lineup’s price tag. The two share similar characteristics that may not entirely be a bad thing since the S8 itself does look quite sleek.
With this new technology on the horizon it could be worth waiting to see what devices launch in 2019 with 5G compatibility.
In addition to these sources, Samsung has released the Unpacked 2018 app compatible with both Android and iOS devices to watch the livestream of the launch event. The handset might sport a 5.1-inch full HD display and come with 19-megapixel rear camera, plus a 13-megapixel lens for selfies.
