Samsung’s new Bixby assistant might not be based on Viv Labs technology

Of course, with the sources in this report not confirmed, be sure to take these as just rumors.

At the moment Samsung hasn’t said when the Android 7.0 Nougat update is making its way to the Samsung Galaxy S6 but we are hoping that it won’t be too long. While display is still the number one culprit in terms of battery life, Samsung is fielding in its new Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets to save some juice.

According to a new report, the larger of the two S8 phones will offer less capacity than last year’s S7 Edge, but the smaller S8 model will offer the same as the S7.

The report lines up with past leaks from The Guardian and VentureBeat. This suggests the S8 will use on-screen navigation buttons, which the website says “makes sense” if the smartphone gets an edge-to-edge screen.
