Seattle loses safety Earl Thomas for rest of the season

December 14 00:27 2016

Even with the game well in hand a few weeks again against the Eagles, Philadelphia almost covered the spread late with a touchdown against the Seahawks in the fourth quarter. In fact, he did not throw for more than 200 yards in any of the three regular-season games he played against Seattle, all of which were in Carolina.

“There are some guys out there that need to step it up and unfortunately they didn’t”, Carolina coach Ron Rivera said.

According to Lindsay Jones of USA Today, the Panthers told the media the move was not injury related and that it was simply the decision of Rivera.

“He ran into Kam [Chancellor], and Kam’s made of steel, so that’s going to hurt, and it sure did”. Thomas had recorded 48 tackles, 10 passes defended, and two interceptions this season.

Carroll did not have a time frame on the injury and wasn’t sure if Thomas would need surgery to fix his broken bone.

Members of the Seahawks’ medical training staff carried Thomas off the field so he wouldn’t have to put weight on his left leg.

Assuming we know all there is to know about Newton and his propensity for following team rules, not wearing a tie might seem like a penny ante reason to pull your star quarterback. “A lot is running through my mind including retirement thanks for all the prayers”. Rawls is believed to be a key player along with Tyler Lockett who also sustained an injury the same week. “It’s a devastating thing for him and for all of us”.

While he was lying on the turf in agony with a broken tibia and doctors rushed to him, Earl Thomas wanted Richard Sherman to know something he thought was important. “He’s a strong-willed dude, so he’ll be fine”.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let’s get to the amusing stuff, because it’s obvious why this is hilarious, right? “That’s a little too strict I think, but that’s not my coach”.

“When you get injured, it becomes very emotional”, Chancellor said.

It’s never easy to truly step away from the game you love in the grand scheme of things.

If you are one of the millions of people with whom the official explanation for Cam Newton’s benching just did not sit right, this post is for you.

So, when they went ahead 28-27 with 4:34 remaining, they had to go for 2, and Berry took it back 99 yards for the first game-winning pick-2 in National Football League history. I treat everybody the same when this comes up to it.

It was the first time in Newton’s six-year career that he didn’t start a game due to anything other than an injury.

That somebody will be Steven Terrell, a fourth-year pro out of Texas A&M who finished the night at free safety for Seattle.
