Google has yet to formally announce the Enterprise Edition of Glass in any capacity, despite these images being published on the FCC website, Federal Communications Commission. “The hinge should make Google Glass easier to stow away in a pocket; the only way to store the old version was to use the included hard/soft case”. The file on the site also includes a manual, with user instructions, nearly similar to the original Google Glass version, “Explorer Edition“. The redesigned glasses have a larger glass prism, 5GHz Wi-Fi, a faster Intel Atom processor and are waterproof.

As you can see, it’s still a head piece that goes right over your ear and features a small display that projects images right onto your eyes. The Home Screen is your starting point. “By default, the display shows you the current time”, the document explains.

The new Google Glass is capable of folding. This next part is a good one that will make Glass seem much less creepy.

The report also reveals that the new Glass boasts of better heat management, thanks to the new chip and its improved performance. The camera light will turn green when the camera is activated which will help Glass get some acceptance in public, since people were freaking out when they found out that Glass can silently record them.

The next version of Glass is reportedly known as the “Enterprise Edition” and will target businesses and the workplace. Again, the term has reappeared as people debate the design of the second generation Google Glass. After the first model was released, the team was given the task of making Google Glass appealing to more users.

The news portal added that it will be highly unlikely for the company to sell the product to consumers because the device is supposedly be sold to businesses through the Glass for Work program. Moreover, the assembly that holds the glass prism can fold down against the earpiece.
