According to TechCrunch, select users in India have noticed the feature popping up in both the iOS and Android version of WhatsApp, with many users celebrating the launch on Twitter. However, the power to edit sent texts would also be highly appreciated. The store will be divided into two sections, “Featured” and “My”, where users can browse, download, view and delete the stickers.

WhatsApp is owned by Facebook, and it seems as if the parent company is spreading its money transfer services over various apps in order to cover the most ground.

WhatsApp is close to rolling out its UPI-based payment service on the messaging app. Going by this report, users first need to accept the WhatsApp payments terms and privacy policy, followed by the procedure to add a bank account and link it with UPI.

The shortcut for payments will be shown in a list of attachments that is seen alongside Documents, Gallery, Audio, Location, and Contact.

Facebook, which bought WhatsApp for a record $19 billion back in February 2014, has already added a peer-to-peer payment solution to its Messenger chat app.

WhatsApp is testing a new feature that lets you send digital payments to your family and friends like you would a photo or file.

Currently, WhatsApp has launched a person to person payment feature in India. As of now, it is not known whether this feature will make its way or not. Once you get the UPI number you can use WhatsApp payments.

As soon as this feature will get launch you will find a group voice and video calling with video icon at the bottom of your screen. It may also introduce group calls.

The feature is said to be available on app version 2.18.21 on iOS and 2.18.41 or later on Android. WABetaInfo says that it’ll be available in the future.

It has been quite a while since we have been hearing about WhatsApp building a dedicated app for iPad devices. The app is now available for small businesses enables the business’ to connect with the customers using features such as Business Profiles, Messaging Statistics, Account Type, and Messaging Tools.
