Southern California Hit By 4.4-Magnitude Earthquake

This quake followed another, unrelated quake several hours earlier near San Bernadino, Calif., that measured 4.4.

The quake was felt in Mission Viejo, Malibu and Lancaster, USGS seismologist Lucy Jones told NBC4, citing self-reported information to the USGS “Did you feel it” Web page. Minutes later it was followed by aftershocks of magnitude 3.8 and 3.2.
