Here’s a look at where you can find deals on Samsung’s Galaxy S6 smartphones during Black Friday 2015. Both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 are being offered by Verizon. We did tell you last time that most people will be content with checking the usual sources, such as retail stores, but there are other sources for great Black Friday deals, and these include mobile carriers.
As noted, this was attributed initially to the coldly received Galaxy S5, but even with the current Galaxy S6 receiving better reception, sales figures is nowhere Samsung expects it to be.
Samsung launched the Galaxy View a couple of weeks ago and as you guys probably noticed, the internet didn’t really care that much for it. Although Samsung doesn’t want you to describe the Galaxy View as a tablet, that’s exactly what it is. Although Google just released two phones that do not feature microSD card slots, the company did a lot of work to make Android more friendly to expandable storage with Marshmallow.
Verizon is also offering the Ellipsis 10 tablet for only $49.99 with a two-year contract, or for the Ellipsis 10 bundle pack for $99. Sprint’s Black Friday deals kick off on its website on November 26, and would run through the 27 of the month. Yes, Sprint is giving away free TVs.
Similar to this year’s models the new smartphone is also expected to ship with either a flat 5.2inch or a curved 5.7inch Edge display. The day before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year and Verizon customers will “get” a few freebies.
Hardware Deals: Bring your own phone number to Cricket and you can knock $50 off the cost of an LG G Stylo; you’re also eligible for a $50 mail-in rebate. Not only does this one give you peace of mind in knowing that it can fall out of your pocket or desk without shattering, the phone also features some pretty impressive hardware.
Rivals such as HTC and LG have taken advantage of this change by promoting the slot for their phones.
Hardware Deals: MetroPCS made its data plan move earlier this month when it boosted its $40 and $50 monthly plans to 3GB and 5GB, respectively. It is to be noted that this offer is available for existing Sprint customers who upgrade or add a new line of service and customers switching to Sprint. The Note 5 is available for $12.33 a month for 24-months down from $29 a month.
