‘Stand With Planned Parenthood’ counter-protests in MI

One can respect abortion opponents who are genuinely guided by conscience. This is no doubt the reason that so many have unquestioningly and immediately complied with the organization’s request not to counterprotest in its defense. Criticism of the group has been especially fierce since 2015, when a series of undercover videos appeared to show Planned Parenthood officials discussing, in often graphic terms, making fetal tissue available to researchers. Planned Parenthood has more than 700 locations throughout the United States, including one in Ithaca.

But in what may seem like a unusual response, Planned Parenthood has asked that supporters not counter the bigots at their doors.
