While both injuries are devastating for both teams, one has to assume that the loss of Dalton will significantly impact the Cincinnati Bengals more than the void of DeAngelo Williams is going to impact the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers have dealt with their share of injuries this season, but nothing was a bigger blow then losing star running back Le’Veon Bell for the season with a torn MCL.

While the Steelers are perfectly capable of getting the job done through the air with wide receivers Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton and tight end Heath Miller, not having the threat of the run could make the sledding much more hard.

Fitzgerald Toussaint is next in line, but he’s only received 24 carries for 54 yards (2.3 ypc) in his career.

Williams has played very well for Pittsburgh this year, rushing for 907 yards on just 200 attempts, along with 11 rushing touchdowns. We’ll have daily discussions and planning regarding that.
