More exactly, Google CEO Sundar Pichai recently said that the name of Android N might be chosen following an online poll.
Mr. Pichai, who was attending an interactive session #AskSundar with students from various schools and colleges of Delhi University, revealed his candid side. There were also many areas of technological development where India would become Google’s first market for experimentation and trial, before launch in other markets.
“That’s part of a new template”, he said, perhaps dropping a hint that scores of students present there could play a larger role in shaping the technology of tomorrow. Jokes aside, Pichai has now made it easier for us to understand how the name might be chosen and it’s all good news for the fans. It is also one of the reasons why we are so much interested in India because it will define the future.
Talking about the public Wi-Fi project, which he announced, Pichai said he was very excited about it.
Technology trends of the future will emerge from India, Pichai told students at one of India’s top colleges on Thursday.
