Super Mario Run hits Android early

March 23 09:15 2017

The game was due to go live later today, 23rd March.

You could play the game on iPhone 7 and iPhone 6. When the game came on iOS, it reportedly saw millions of downloads in its first four days to become the fastest-selling iOS game in history. Also, it’s worth mentioning that the game is still not live in some regions including India (though it’s listed otherwise) but one can simply download the apk file from here and get going. The game has been updated to v2.0, and brings new playable characters – to be frank, there are just colour variations of Yoshi – along with providing more content to the free tier. According to Mirror, the players can access Super Mario Run for free just like Apple users did. The probable cause of delay was that Nintendo was still fixing some bugs on their game while using iOS devices. Or, you can access it any time by tapping the How to Play button on the lower-right corner of the World Tour screen. Mario runs forward on his own but relies on the tap of a single finger to jump over obstacles, avoid enemies, pull off stylish moves, collect coins and reach the flagpole to complete courses.

It is the Super Mario Run 2.0.0 version that is running perfectly on the Moto G5 Plus smartphone that we tried it on, already. More toads – red, blue, and green ones – will cheer you on.

As with the iOS edition, it will cost £9.99 to unlock all the game’s stages. The game is still focused on challenges. Block. ・ Adjusted the requirements to get some buildings in the Shop. The game was released on the iOS last December and has since garnered a huge number of followers.

Looks like the company is all set to make a lot of bucks by offering it for the Android users.

Note, if you’re on Android, the game isn’t yet available through the Play Store and you’ll have to wait till 2017.
