Tales of Berseria, One Piece and JoJo’s all heading west

January 03 15:34 2016

Tales of Berseria is heading to the PlayStation 4, putting players in control of Velvet, a woman on a quest for revenge.

Sony has confirmed that God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2 are coming to PS4 and PlayStation Vita.

It’s a 2 v. 2 fighting game that brings characters from the anime and manga to live in battle arenas similar to that of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announced yesterday that Tales of Berseria, the upcoming Tales series installment, will receive a western release on PS4 and PC. The God Eater series features a gameplay similar to Monster Hunter, where you fight huge monsters while wielding giant weapons, swinging away at them in order to collect body parts, constantly improving your gear.

Gamers had a suspicion that Bandai Namco was planning some sort of global announcement for the God Eater hunting action series, based on excellent detective work conducted by fans using meager assets from the teaser site alone.

Now, check out the trailers for some of the newly announced games below. The two God Eater titles will launch on the PS4, PS Vita, and PC while Tales of Berseria will be on the PS4 and PC only.

In the “Tales of Berseria“, players get to play the game as a pirate who fights against warriors that have lost their ability to feel like a human, since they battled against other monsters.

Following up on last week’s delightful teaser, publisher Bandai Namco has formally pulled back the curtain on God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst, which are both headed west in 2016.
