Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift attends the 64th Annual BMI Pop Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on May 10, 2016 in Beverly Hills, California.
Borchetta, President and CEO of the Big Machine Label Group, replied to a fan’s request for comment on the rumors Tuesday (Aug. 9), shutting things down with a one word response: “NOPE”.
But it’s been two years now and there’s a huge blank space in my life for a new T-Swift album.
This has lead to speculation that Taylor will be dropping an album in October with all her newfound material that she has gained in the past few months.
October 24th will mark the ten year anniversary of Swift’s self titled debut album, so perhaps Swifties can look forward to something special to commemorate the milestone, but it won’t be a new album.
“I think I should take some time off”, she told PEOPLE back in October 2015.
“I’m going to hang out with my friends”.
We don’t know either, for now.
