Texas Tech steals ball at goal line, returns 99 yards for TD

Texas’ only road win during that span came as a 21½-point underdog against a Baylor team down to its fourth-string quarterback in last year’s regular-season finale.

Coming off of an upset of the Baylor Bears, the Texas Longhorns have a chance to beat another in-state rival on Saturday when they visit the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Foreman was dragging the entire Red Raides defense to the goal line when Texas Tech’s Douglas Coleman stripped the ball and returned it for a school record. “And even though things may go against them, they continue to just – someone steps up and makes a play”. Foreman had to miss Texas’ game against Tech last season with an injury, and his understudy Chris Warren III rushed for only 276. With an average of 226.5 yards per game on the ground, it is a must that Texas Tech stops their running game. It turned out be much-needed as well as the Texas passing offense struggled, particularly in the second half. That is way better than the Longhorns who are 58th in the nation.

Foreman said it’s going to be important for his team to be prepared as well. “Pat does a tremendous job of understanding the down and distance”, he said. On the defense, North Texas football yields 201.9 yards in passing and 201.5 yards in rushing against their opponents. They dropped a double header against Texas Tech, Wednesday. The Red Raider defense then made a big stop to give the offense the ball.
