They may have been flirting with the idea or dancing around the notion previous to Ben’s hometown visits but had one obstacle standing in the way.

Amanda’s mom summarized the day pretty well, saying “It’s too early to see if he could be a potential father and husband, but it looks promising”.

“Today has been the most unpredictable hometown yet”, Ben says at the end of the date.

“I want to be with somebody that doesn’t just love me but loves my kids”, Amanda said.

Ben was gently grilled by Lauren’s sister. When it really got sad, though, was when she broke down in the vehicle, explaining, “I wouldn’t have introduced him to my kids if I wasn’t falling for him”.

When Ben went to visit Cailia in her hometown of Hudson, Ohio, Cailia admitted she wasn’t sure if she was in love with Ben.

Miz Quinn takes Ben to a toy factory (her daddy is the CEO, look out), and the two donned hard hats and walked around seeing toys being made. It’s from her ex, who wants her back. The next episode of the reality show is all about the overnight dates, which all took place in Jamaica.

At the home of Amanda’s family, her father warned Ben that being a stepdad to her children would be a big responsibility. I hope Amanda was able to see exactly how hard it was for Ben to say goodbye. That totally won’t come back to bite her. Caila’s relationship with Ben has been different from anyone else’s and she has changed so much through this journey. The rest of the family likes him well enough, although her little brothers side eye him over the impending Fantasy Suites, which is awkward for everyone. This could’ve given her the upper hand over Lauren B. heading in to next week, but alas, the world will never know. After all, he sent her flowers and wrote her a letter when Ben was due to meet the parents – if that was Chad’s intention, then he was definitely looking to throw a wrench in the smoothly-running gears of JoJo and Ben’s relationship, and that’s now happening on national television. Of course he would be named Chad. There, mom drank from a glass, but didn’t bother taking off her retainer. They have to. They have to show they care. If Ben chooses no one, credit them. Then they tell Ben to stop brainwashing their sister and the other girls to think he’s so desirable. Honestly, no one could have predicted how she would respond. But Ben was shocked when JoJo’s brothers ambushed him, implying he was a phony and could “brainwash” the girls vying for his heart. It doesn’t even matter that she barely brushed her hair. Before Ben could meet her parents, she received a bouquet of roses from her ex. She felt she should call him. She told Ben that she’d rejected her ex-beau’s plea to reconcile and stressed how happy she was with HIM instead.

“I saw you with your daughters this week, and I was more impressed with you than I ever could have imagined”, Ben told Amanda following the rose ceremony. Basically these two little kids are in the middle of a pack of strangers exploiting them for ratings while Ben tries to decide if their mother is wife material. It seems obvious that the two are Lauren and JoJo, and poor Caila is just hanging around.
