The Bachelorette Finale Recap

August 08 13:38 2017

Sure, The Bachelorette is known for drama and heartbreak, but after tonight’s finale, Rachel Lindsay might want to turn off her Twitter mentions for a while. Let’s take a look at the possibilities. “I am completely head over heels, totally, absolutely in love with you“, he said. Despite that, the 32-year-old reality star admitted during one of the show’s episodes that she was still in love with him even after they split.

Rachel and Peter, the runner up, had a bitter breakup just short of the finish line. He also has two additional things going for him. Rachel obviously found that appealing.

“Great. Go find someone to have a mediocre life with”, Peter snapped. “I didn’t meet with Peter last night but I saw the final episode”. He explains that he was a boy, but Rachel made him a man (in the Fantasy Suite?). Sure, there were a few bumps along the way, but Rachel and Bryan always appeared to be a flawless match. Trista was the very first Bachelorette contestant who just so happened to make it to the alter with the man who won the show.

Before the dramatic proposal, Lindsay suffered one last heartbreak: In a messy and emotional conversation during their final date, she broke up with Kraus, a fan favorite beloved for the gap in his teeth (which matches Lindsay’s). Their one-on-one date also involved exploring the city, dinner, discussions about their former relationships and of course a date rose for Bryan. Glad you like to take it slow now, Rach. Right now, we know that the Dallas-based lawyer narrowed it down to three hotties to choose from to be her future hubby – Eric Bigger, Peter Kraus and Bryan Abasolo. Eric asked Rachel, to which she replied that she was good. Later in the night Bryan gives Rachel a book of translation cheat sheets. Rachel was very clear that she wanted to to be engaged, and Bryan was only too happy to conjure up new, decidedly unsubtle ways to convey his thirst.

But Rachel, his charm borders on smarm! Either way, we’ll see you in Paradise. That is not going to be an easy Thanksgiving with the in-laws. It’s an awkward exchange, but it’s a prime showing for Eric and a decent justification for why he should be the next Bachelor.

This caused an uproar on social media, with some ridiculing Rachel and her decision to go with a ring instead of the man of her dreams. “I just hope you feel the same”.

Bryan is a Colombian chiropractor who attempted to woo Rachel Lindsay in Spanish and described himself as “trouble”.
