The Powerful OnePlus 3T To Hit Martket With A Snapdragon 821 Processor

Replacing a phone just six months after its release is an unorthodox thing to do in the mobile industry, which usually sees 12 months between phone generations, but it’s fair to say that OnePlus isn’t exactly an orthodox company.

Inside the newly launched device sits the powerful Snapdragon 821 chipset.

OxygenOS is on top of Android, as expected. The original OnePlus 3 already delivered pretty impressive endurance during our review, so this could mean even more stamina. However, the 3T will ship with an updated version of Oxygen OS that features a few new tweaks and additions that now don’t exist one the OnePlus 3. We’ve reached out to OnePlus to found out pricing on the 128GB model. With the OnePlus 3T, what we effectively have is the same device as the OnePlus 3 but with slightly better specifications – it does seem a little odd on the surface, when it could have kept these improvements for the inevitable launch of the OnePlus 4 sometime next summer. The 20W OnePlus Dash Charge is still supported, and this should translate into very fast charging times.

OnePlus 3T will be running the official Oxygen OS-based on Android. Then again, there were reports that the random access memory is only 6GB, the same as with the previous OnePlus 3 model. Earlier this month we came to know that OnePlus 3T is actually coming up with a Snapdragon 821 which had somehow ignited the flames of excitement. This is a a fixed-focus camera with 1.0um pixels and an f/2.0 aperture, capable of capturing video at 1080p. Video stabilisation has been upgraded on the 3T too, to make videos sharper. Company didn’t compromised with the front selfie camera and it comes with 16 MP Samsung camera.

The OnePlus 3T’s design brings together the most premium materials and acute attention to the smallest details to give users a sleek and bold flagship smartphone. It also comes with the same USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. So on the 3T, you get the same unibody aluminum design, 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display, 16-megapixel rear camera and superfast Dash Charging. The phone also comes in the Soft Gold variant.

OnePlus 3T becomes available on November 22. It builds on Android’s core functionalities with additional features and customizations that further improve the user experience.
