WWE has confirmed Dean Ambrose vs. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H for the event.
The match ended when Triple H told Rusev, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and King Barrett to enter the ring and attack Ambrose.
WWE Roadblock, which will air live on WWE Network on March 12th, has had its main event set. An announcement promoting the show was posted on WWE.com that advertised Triple H as an active competitor for the Toronto show, also indicating that he would be defending his belt. Taker vanishes to the back, with McMahon resuming his promo and declaring that once his son is beaten, “Shane will no longer be my son in my heart, he will just be a son of a bitch”.
He said: “You know what’s going to happen when I close that door behind me at WrestleMania“. According to Lord of Pain, the psychotic superstar will have his turn against Brock Lesnar, adding more fire in one of the biggest cards at Wrestlemania 32. Stephanie showed some great emotion here and it worked for me.
The show, from a storytelling perspective, is one of the best in WWE history, and the matches were largely strong, as well.
Dean Ambrose decides to interrupt, and he and Triple H makes some jokes that are topical to the Oscar’s, which happened last night. Does the WrestleMania main become a triple threat?
What will the Dead Man have to say about this development when he addresses the WWE Universe for the first time in months?
What really stands out though is how much more personality he has than Reigns who most expect to leave WrestleMania as the WWE champion and with it, the title of being the top guy in the WWE hierarchy no matter how fans feel about it.
