The Walking Dead returns with the outstanding “No Way Out”

In a moment of satisfaction he gets sliced by Michonne, but not before he shoots Carl’s eye out. Jessie refuses to let go of Carl’s (Chandler Riggs) arm and Rick’s forced to chop off her arm when walkers start attacking her.

On the official Twitter page of “Walking Dead”, the numerous praises the episode got from its fans, mostly expressing that it was “intense” and “awesome”, were posted. He shot Carl, but Michone (Danai Gurira) was able to stop him by stabbing him in the chest.

Even long-lasting characters like Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) had their redemption moment this week, and it was great to see everyone band together to fight off the invading walkers in one of the few moments of triumph we’ll ever see on this show.

He also told TV Guide how the injury will affect Carl’s personality.

It’s going to get even bloodier after last night?! But it’s doubtful the show will go that far.

The Walking Dead returns to FOX UK tonight at 9pm.

It looks like Carl will survive though, and it actually ends on a positive note with every single surviving man and woman joining the fight to slay the horde of zombies; a fight which they have no choice but to take up given that running is no longer an option. Do you think Carl will become less hopeful and more guarded?

He said, “I felt sick to my stomach when I read the script. It was the first day in the whole six years of working on “The Walking Dead” that I was late for work because I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn’t get back to sleep”. At this point, Rick seems pretty okay with letting new people in, but after this event this might change, I don’t know.

Adds Nicotero: “With Sam, the minute he walks out of the house in midseason finale you wonder if this kid will make it. He’s trying to convince Jessie that he can do it and her cardinal mistake is she plays into her weakness for him”.

“What we’ve done in the first half of the season is show, yes, it’s a larger world and there are a lot of threats out there – we had the Wolves and the walkers – and there are a lot of unknowns out there”.

He didn’t offer too much detail about how it will impact Carl’s relationship with Enid, but he did tease, “I can’t really say much, but, again, they see the world a lot differently now than they used to”.

“I think it’s flawless because the eye, and losing it, has made me into a much better actor, because acting with one eye is hard. I’ll also say some time will have passed between the two episodes”.
