Trump blames Democrats for House GOP failure to pass health care bill

So it was surprising on Friday when the Washington Post’s Robert Costa reported that the president had sounded businesslike, not angry, when he called to say he’d pulled the vote on his GOP health care bill.

He tried to paint the defeat with the brightest colors possible, calling it part of the GOP’s “growing pains” as it transitioned from minority party to guys in charge of the House, Senate and White House.

Tensions among House Republicans were high, said Chris Collins of NY, the first House member to endorse Trump past year.
