Trump, Romney meet for second time after election

Huckabee said Trump faces a hard choice over whether he should add Romney, one of his fiercest critics during the Republican presidential primary, to his Cabinet.

Mitt Romney praised President-elect Donald Trump following the two men’s dinner Tuesday night after months of attacking the NY businessman.

Earlier this year, Romney called Trump a phony, a fraud, and warned Trump had a bombshell in his taxes.

Commenting on former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s awkward dinner date summit with the future commander-in-chief, Gingrich said the entire thing reminds him of scene from 1990 romantic comedy, “Pretty Woman“.

Despite this beef, there’s certainly evidence that Trump is considering Romney for the Secretary of State post, although members of Trump’s own team have disparaged the idea to reporters.

Trump, meanwhile, was far less gushing, telling CNN, “Well, we’re going to see what happens”.

“It’s not easy winning”. The former governor of MA is reportedly one of the two candidates Trump is considering for the top diplomat role. All three had red meat – prime sirloin for Priebus and Mr. Trump and lamb chops for Romney.

While he did not say whether he was offered the cabinet position, Romney spoke positively about Trump and his transition efforts.

Maybe the photographer just caught Romney at a bad time. Some of them I know very well. “He did something I tried to do and was unsuccessful in”. That they’re both such wise, brilliant people.

Romney has also stirred up emotions among Trump aides.

Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, now a senior adviser to his transition, made the rounds of the Sunday news shows and excoriated Romney.
