Unusually, the letter doesn’t say what prompted the prescription, presumably cholesterol levels that at some earlier time were high, said Dr. Danforth Lincoln, a family physician at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center who examined the released information.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump Thursday released a letter from his doctor saying the Republican presidential nominee is in “excellent physical health”.

Trump’s Democratic rival was at home in Chappaqua, New York for a third straight day Wednesday, recovering from a health scare that has rocked her bid to become America’s first woman president. “He’s always happy to answer”. He appeared Thursday on “The Dr. Oz Show“, hosted by Dr. Mehmet Oz, and produced a one-page summary of a physical exam – by none other than Dr. Bornstein – that showed him to be in decent physical shape. Conway said that would be as soon as this week.

“It’s fair to say the public now knows more about Hillary Clinton than almost anyone in public life”, said campaign manager Robby Mook in a statement.

“When the numbers come in, I’ll be releasing very, very specific numbers”, Trump said earlier this week.

Trump also said he tries to ‘stay out of the sun for the most part.

Mr Trump admitted he wanted to lose 15 pounds.

Vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine is in “overall excellent health”, according to a letter the campaign also released Wednesday from his doctor, Brian Monahan, the attending physician of Congress. “The metaphor for me is, this is a doctor’s office, the studio”.

Trump added that when he plays golf with professional National Football League quarterback Tom Brady, “I feel the same age as him”.

But since she stumbled leaving a 9/11 commemoration ceremony on Sunday morning, Trump has been careful not to question Clinton’s health directly.

Clinton’s gaffe and health issue are sure to be seized on by the Trump campaign even if the man himself does not pounce, and it’s hard to believe he won’t during the upcoming debates. The audience applauds, and Trump hands Oz what he says are two letters regarding the physical.

Speaking to the Economic Club of NY on Thursday afternoon, Mr Trump promised to set a goal of 4% annual economic growth if he is elected President and to cut government spending on non-defence and non-safety areas by 1% a year, with a view to saving $1tr (£770bn) over a decade.

Oz told Kilmeade that he wanted to keep the TV segment focused on Trump and Trump’s policies – “we’re not going to be talking about Secretary Clinton, for sure”, he said.

“I also don’t want to talk about anybody else”, Oz said.

“Now we have one (politician, referring to Clinton) left, now we have one left”.

The Republican rumor machine had been operating at full throttle regarding Clinton’s alleged health problems based largely on the evidence of a few coughing spells.

Standing nearby, State senate minority leader Jim Ananich, a Flint resident himself, said the objective of the protest early Thursday was to send “a strong message that Flint’s not a photo-op”.

The New York real estate baron enjoys fast food and has acknowledged that he would like to drop weight.
