ISIS barbarians burned two Turkish soldiers alive in northern Syria, a gruesome new video released by the terror group shows.
Turkish troops are also in the neighboring country in support of the anti-Damascus militant groups in a mission said to be aimed at Daesh and Kurdish militias.
The video’s release comes a day after Turkish forces suffered their heaviest losses yet during their incursion into Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) on Friday said that Turkish airstrikes had killed 88 civilians since early on Thursday, including 24 children.
Turkish officials didn’t immediately comment on the video or respond to requests seeking verification of its content.
The 19 minute video shows two Turkish soldiers inside an ISIS as their representative speaks Turkish, condemning Turkish military interventions in the affairs of Syria and Iraq.
A video put out by a group that goes by the name Aleppo Province of the Islamic State is believed to have triggered the move.
The military said a record 138 Islamic State militants were killed on Wednesday. The websites appeared to be back to normal on Friday.
It said that Turkish air strikes in the area had killed seven people in al-Bab and that 15 Turkish-backed rebels had been killed in fighting on Wednesday.
The savage video is likely to inflame public sentiment in Turkey, and draw fierce response from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Around 840 square kilometers between the Syrian cities of Azaz and Jarabulus have been cleared from Daesh militants since the operation was launched in August.
At least 38 Turkish soldiers have been killed in the operation, which the Turkish government has dubbed Euphrates Shield.
