Updated Big Ten Tournament Bracket – March 1

The Big Ten Tournament this week will take place at Madison Square Garden and may be full of more surprises.

With the Big Ten Tournament only being at Madison Square Garden for this season before heading back out to Chicago and Indianapolis through 2022, Wednesday night was the ideal chance for both Rutgers fans and the team to put on a show for the rest of the Big Ten. The Nebraska Cornhuskers have won two of their last three neutral site games.

WISCONSIN 59, MARYLAND 54: In New York, Brevin Pritzl broke a tie with a foul-line jumper with 28 seconds left and Khalil Iverson secured the win with a steal in the waning seconds, leading the Badgers to the second round win.

It was Iowa’s eighth win in a row.

MI walked away with a 76-71 win, and will play Nebraska next.

Sophomore Mat Robson was one of the hottest goalies in the Big Ten entering the Penn State series, but he was peppered for eight goals on 99 shots throughout the weekend.

The junior forward should have fresh legs and renewed energy when the ball tips tonight at MSG as IN had six days off to prepare for their Big Ten tournament opener.

“I think that was really big”, Miller explained. Ohio State has conference wins over the other four teams that finished in the top five.

After an up-and-down regular season, Hoosiers look to shine in New York City. The NCAA, for some reason, didn’t announce attendance figures, but it apparently looked a good bit like the 2017 Big Ten tournament, which was held in Washington, a place which is also not in or MI or Iowa, or a place that anyone from most of the Big Ten would remotely consider driving to.
