‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 8, Series Finale Spoilers

March 11 07:35 2017

The Vampire Diaries” is coming to an end tonight.

Warning: this story contains major spoilers from The Vampire Diaries series finale, “I Was Feeling Epic.” . “We never found the solution to that in this show, so maybe we’ll see Caroline again in something new and we’ll answer the question one day”. At the end of Season 1, this was the first time that many fans felt the sparks between Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev). “I’m very happy that we were able to make it work and that I came back because I really missed the whole family and wanted to be part of the final goodbye”. While she always said she would love to come back for the finale, whenever it was, the official announcement was made in late January via Instagram.

Damon (Ian Somerhalder) fights with Vicki Donovan (Kayla Ewell), throwing her out the window. Entertainment Weekly earlier reported that Elena will be seen crying while standing in the Mystic Falls cemetery. So Matt, realizing he can’t stop his sister, activates the evacuation protocol citing a “gas leak”.

It was one thing when we find out that Stefan used to be in love with a doppelgänger of Elena Gilbert, known as Katherine. For him they were fun to watch and seeing all of these people grow and evolve over time. Poor Mystic Falls and its gas leaks. Damon, desperate to disprove that, throws Vicki off of the bell tower.

Caroline Forbes may live on in another TV show.

While she has some ideas, looks like she’s not going to jump on them immediately. “We’re not pulling a bait and switch of Elena not being awake”. However, Stefan argued that Damon could have literally an “eternity with Elena” ahead of him. The husband of Nikki Reed said that the return of her character is really going to be very powerful.

In the days that followed, Bonnie fully embraced her witchy-ness and miraculously cracked the spell over Elena, unlinking their destinies.

The show ended with Elena explaining how Damon was always anxious he wouldn’t see his brother again, before showing us what the afterlife looked like when both she and her man died. And he would have said, “Hello, love” or “Hello, Caroline”, and that would have been it. Alaric tells her to take the tunnels to get out; Stefan says he has to try to talk to Damon.

We all know that Dobrev left the show after wrapping up Season 6 in 2015. When Stefan is with Elena, he constantly broods over the guilt of his previous transgressions, and when Damon wins her love, his feisty, feral ferocity is tamed to extent of boredom. Damon finally declared his love for Elena, but he couldn’t let her remember that.
