Vanessa Hudgens speaks out after ‘Grease

The last few days have been emotional for Miss Hudgens.

The show went on hours after her father’s death and now Vanessa Hudgens is thanking fans for their outpour of support.

Hudgens delivered powerful vocals and a sassy attitude only hours after announcing her father passed away from cancer. “Doing #greaselive was one of the most incredible experience and I’m so glad you guys liked it as much as I did”, the actress captioned the Instagram. Accompanied by her handsome boyfriend, Austin Butler, the pair headed to a yoga class for some rest and relaxation after such an eventful weekend. He tweeted, “WOW @VanessaHudgens singing “Worst Things” had me in tears”.

Up next for FOX is a musical production of The Passion, which will air live from New Orleans in March.

“I was proud of her anyway for the performance she gave, but to come in on Sunday morning and share with me the news… she’s a very determined young woman”.

“Grease Live” Producer Marc Platt revealed to Entertainment Weekly that Hudgens professionalism during such a trying time in her life blew him away. Julliane Hough wowed everyone as Sandy, especially when she sang the Olivia Newton-John original, “Hopelessly Devoted to You”.

We hope that Vanessa Hudgens will now start to take on the bigger and more challenging roles on the movie scene, showing the world what a fantastic acting talent she is.

My heart breaks to think that her daddy couldn’t see that performance… though I like to think that somehow, somewhere, he did.

Many celebrities took to Twitter to express their admiration and respect for the strength Vanessa showed in her performances last night. Hudgens also noted the importance of the award she received for her, and then proceeded to dedicating it to his dad, his boyfriend’s mom and every other families who struggle and are affected by cancer.
