Warriors say no decision has been made on White House visit

After a night of celebrating the Golden State Warriors latest National Basketball Association title, fans snapped up victory shirts and hats Tuesday, while Oakland crews were busy hanging championship banners along the parade route.

The team later issued a statement saying they’d make a decision on the topic “when and if” it was necessary.

“Today is all about celebrating our championship”, the team said in a statement, according to KABC. Kerr has denounced Trump’s policies as “un-American”, while Steph Curry called the president an asset – minus the “et”.

The Warriors visited the White House when they won in 2015. While Brady cited family reasons for missing the celebration, others like Devin McCourtey, Martellus Bennett and Chris Long cited Trump as their reason for not attending.

Can you endure Donald Trump’s most EMBARASSING tweets? In a January interview with the CSN Bay Area Warriors Insider Podcast, Warriors forward David West said he was troubled by how Trump’s example might have an effect on young people.

The President is Donald Trump and the Warriors are, well, the Warriors.

Later Tuesday, the CEO of the reigning Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins said his team would accept an invitation to the White House.

Dub Nation is severing diplomatic ties with the White House. “I really feel that my views would keep me from going and visiting”, he continued. My family and I caught the bug several years ago when we lived in California and have followed the team closely ever since. It’s about the guys next to you, about the flag, about the kids out there who look up to you and the United States.

The Warriors have no love for the Commander-In-Chief
