West Ham join Man Utd in Southampton’s Sadio Mane chase

West Ham United are reportedly looking to mark their move into the Olympic Stadium this summer with a spending spree that could see the club pursue a number of high profile targets, including Southampton winger Sadio Mane. He is great to have in the squad and at the club.

“At this club there were big players”, the manager told reporters at a press conference when asked if Payet compared to the tempestuous Italian.

Slaven Bilic’s side were thought to be close to a deal for Burak Yilmaz but Galatasaray are holding out for closer to £7 million for the player.

“It’s real hard luck for Carl getting the injury because I know from my own knee injuries that getting a serious one is hard to take”.

So when it comes to this window, the name on so many people’s lips is that of West Ham’s man of the moment Dimitri Payet.

West Ham United on the other hand, have scored nine in their last five matches in all competitions.
