West Wing Actor Surprises Reporters At White House Press Briefing

During a Friday White House press briefing, correspondents learned that Press Secretary Josh Ernest had been replaced with my main bitch Allison Janney/C.J.

Janney briefly reprised her role as White House Press Secretary from the show today when she surprised reporters and stepped behind the podium at a White House press briefing. “Let’s be honest, I’m better at this than he is, anyway”.

With the White House Correspondents’ Dinner coming tomorrow night, things are starting to get zany in Washington, DC.

“Josh is out today, he has a, I believe it’s a root canal“. Janney joked that the President was still working on his jokes for the dinner and that at half-past five she would be doing “The Jackal” in her office-an inside joke from the show.

She said the White House would be recognizing 10 people from across the country for their work to prevent prescription drug abuse.

CBS said Friday that as part of the event, the Mom team will also participate on a panel with Surgeon General Vivek Murthy about the portrayal of addiction and recovery in the media. “Research shows it works – and courageous Americans show it works everyday”.

“I’m so sorry. I was in town, and I just, you know, wanted to take a moment”, Janney fake-stammered.

“The West Wing”, created by Aaron Sorkin, ran on NBC from 1999 to 2006. Actor Bradley Whitford, who played Deputy Chief of Staff Lyman, said earlier this month that actor Martin Sheen’s President Bartlett would absolutely vote for Hillary Clinton.
